As you may know, the only Poke-your-mom game I've played is Yellow. I adore yellow, but replaying it over and over is only so fun, right? I have a ds and a gameboy advance. If you can find one, I'll download an emulator, but I'd actually rather pay money for the game because of the handheldness. The only games I don't want for sure is Red/Blue. Something newwww. I kinda want Gold/Silver/Crystal (?) ebcause it seems funnnn and it's going to be a hecka alot cheaper then any new games. I really love the concept of having new stuff and then doing the old stuff allover again- but with lotsa new mixed in. Diamond/Pearl seems really awesome, but is still like.. 30 dollars, and I only have like, 40 right now (and I'm saving for something else that comes out in march) From whats said on wiki I can't really form an opinon for fire red/leaf green/ ruby/ sapphire and emerald, so I need some opinon from people who own any games besides r/b/y. If you guys are no help I'll most likely get Gold/silver, cause those are eight years old and bound to be cheap. (plus, for an oldy like me they'll be the most normalish? Like, if I plan to get more games it's good I start with these) =D

I'm no Pokeman expert, but I liked Gold and Silver. And...ugh... Yeah. I own Diamond now, and a couple older ones. My brother would probably know more about it, though. -shrug-

Only Poh-kee-man games I've played are Puzzle League(N64) and Pearl(DS). Pearl's boring--and really irritating--but I love Puzzle League.

I adored Silver/Crystal(never played Gold). I still do. Crystal is awesome. Its sad that you can't do anything with them with DS/D/P stuff. I never played Ruby/Leaf Green/Fire Red- But I've played Sapphire. It's good, but its boring after a while, like most pokemon games. I've also played a little bit of Emerald because of the GBA emulator my stepdad put on here like 50 trillion years ago. It only has Golden Sun and that on it, though... I would be playing Diamond, but some stupid little sister just had to break my DS. T_T I like Diamond. There's more stuff to do.

I've been into pokemon games waaaaaaay before TMMRP. You just inspired me to buy Yellow because the last time I had yellow it was some guy that lived on this street that gave it to me but it was useless because the graphics were screwed up and it couldn't save.

... I have practically all the games. 1 Yellow. <--- First one I ever got so I will love it for all eternity. Or however you spell it. xD 1 Red. 1 Blue. <--- Actually sister's until she gave up on Pokemon and let me keep it. Either 1 OR 2 Gold. Same for Silver. 1 Crystal <--- Probably my favorite besides Yellow. 1 Ruby. 1 Sapphire. 1 Emerald. 1 Diamond. 1 Pearl.
Yeah. I'm pretty much spoiled. x[

I'm seeing Crystal is the popular choice here, so I'm going to reread the article (I only looked at Gold/silver and glanced at crystal)

And FireRed and LeafGreen. They're ok. I just liked the fact that the whole thing was remodled. And that you could actually play as a girl in Kanto. I never made it past the Pokemon League in any of my games. Pretty much would stop after getting the eighth badge, try out the Pokemon Leauge, and lose maybe after twenty tries. It's sad I know. xD;;

DO IT!!! Yellow's the bomb diggity and will always be. I remember playing for the first time on my Gameboy Color when I was like five or sixish. It used to be some much fun. I think I might play it in awhile. I just adore replaying old school Pokemon games. Except for Red. It doesn't let me save for some strange reason.

But after the pokemon legaues is fuuuuun! In yellow you get mewtwozzle, and you can pwn all the trainers. XD (and according to wiki, in the new games you get to play a whole diffrent world in some.)

I remeber watching my sissy play it (borrowed) when I was a lot younger. Then we moved and she bought it at some store, played it (I helped/ watched- I think It was one of my first games- my first game ever was spyro orange, which sucks compared to other games I've played) then she got stuck/bored, I started it over and won, then later I started it over again and got all the cool pokemons (Lapdos, moltres, zapdos, mew2) and then I started it over again and I'm playing now. XD

The G/S/C series (ESPECIALLY Crystal) have the best plots. And the SUPER-best part is, after you defeat the Elite Four, you get to go to Kanto and get eight more badges. I was really disappointed that you couldn't do that in R/S/E.
